Telecom Lead India: Indian mobile services market is heading
for price war.

 

Tata Docomo has launched Rs 899 plan for its postpaid
mobile customers with unlimited calls both on the local and national network.

 

This is an innovative offer which can attract
competitors’ attention.

 

“For a fixed monthly rental of Rs 899, a customer
can avail of unlimited number of local and national calls on any mobile or
fixed-line network across the country. This is for the first time any operator
is offering such a benefit,” said Tata Docomo marketing head Gurinder Singh
Sandhu in a statement.

 

The statement did not say whether the offer has any
conditions attached to it.

 

Tata Docomo said that the company recognizes that there
is a latent need to simplify voice tariffs. This unlimited plan without any
network restrictions offers simplicity and peace of mind to customers. This
plan is yet another industry first and reiterates Tata’s efforts for providing
great value for money for customers.

 

Tata Teleservices is present in all the 22 telecom
circles, and its offers GSM and CDMA services apart from 3G services under the
unified brand name of Tata Docomo.

 

Tata DOCOMO Photon Max unveils unlimited plan in Mumbai
for Rs 1,000 with conditions

Tata DOCOMO has launched unlimited plan for Photon Max
customers in Mumbai. Existing and new post-pay Tata DOCOMO Photon Max users
will get flat bill cap of Rs 1000 every month. Users can utilize 3GB data at up
to 6.2 mbps downlink speed. Post 3GB, speeds will be capped at up to 153.6
Kbps.

 

Tata DOCOMO reduces broadband data card price to Rs 1,199

Recently, Tata DOCOMO decided to slash the price of its
broadband data card price to Rs 1,199. The reduction is price of Tata DOCOMO
Photon Plus services is primarily aimed at delighting its customers who want to
experience high speed mobile broadband connectivity, on the go.

 

Moreover, new customers will get additional advantage of
100 percent cash back offer on select plans. These customers will get a
discount of Rs 100 on their monthly bill amount for the next 12 months making
the device absolutely free.
