Idea launches ‘Idea Magic Voice’ service for its subscribers in Tamil Nadu & Chennai

Idea Cellular has launched a new VAS service called ‘Idea Magic
Voice’ application for its subscribers in Tamil Nadu & Chennai.

Powered by Techzone, the new VAS service enables
Idea subscribers to change their voice in 9 different ways and talk to their
friends.  This is a first-of-its-kind VAS service which is a handset
independent service and can be accessed from any handset.

reward them for their faith on our network. Very soon we will be expanding the
portfolio of voices and other elements under this Idea Magic Voice application
to provide variety and entertain and engage with our subscribers,” said M.

This innovative IVR based VAS service Idea  Magic
Voice” allows the users to change their voice in different ways and talk
to their friends at a nominal charge of Rs 1/min.

 

The application changes the original voice to the desired
character’s voice during the course of connection with the
receiver.

 

The service is available at Re 1/min. Idea subscribers
through the ‘Idea Magic Voice’ application can modify their voice in 9
different ways – Bugs Bunny, Monster, Tweety bird, Don, Donald Duck,
Male, Baby, Female & Kid.

 

Idea subscribers can use this service by dialing a short
code 56060 and select a voice in which he/she wants to talk to his
friend/family and then dial the receiver’s number.

 

Idea Cellular revenue up 25.8% to Rs 19,541 crore in
2011-12

Recently, Idea Cellular posted 25.8 percent
increase in revenue during 2011-12 at Rs 19,541 crore from Rs 15,503 crore in
2010-11.

 

Idea Cellular’s net profit in FY 2011-12 decreased to Rs
723 crore from Rs 899 crore in FY 2010-11.
