Idea Cellular opens first revamped retail store in Ahmedabad

Indian telecom service provider Idea Cellular on Monday said it opened its first revamped retail store in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

The new store is expected to better customer experience.

The Ahmedabad retail store is part of Idea Cellular’s vision to open such Idea shops across the country. The Aditya Birla group company has over 140 million subscribers with traffic in excess of 1.75 billion minutes a day.

Idea Cellular customers will benefit from features such as a Fixed Service Terminal enabling 24×7 bill payments and recharges, Queue Management Systems, Express Service Desks, Idea 3G Smartphone Experience Zones, 3G Experience Zones and many more improved services.

Navanit Narayan, chief service delivery officer of Idea Cellular, said: “The revamping of our company Retail Stores has been undertaken keeping in view the needs and requirements of our growing and evolving subscriber base. The stores are designed to act as one stop customer experience outlets that showcase the entire range of Idea Cellular services and products.”

The company plans to launch these stores across all large cities in India as well as revamp its existing stores in the new format.

The new Idea store is situated in Ahmedabad at Titanium City Centre, 100 Ft. Road, Prahladnagar, Satellite.
