Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra Starts at $2,499, Fold8 at $1,899 and Flip8 at $1,199 with Galaxy AI, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Advanced Foldable Features

Samsung Electronics has launched its most comprehensive foldable smartphone lineup to date with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8, introducing three premium devices tailored for productivity, entertainment, and self-expression.

Powered by Galaxy AI and optimized for different form factors, the new foldables feature improved durability, slimmer designs, flagship cameras, enhanced multitasking, and stronger privacy protections. Samsung is offering a six-month free trial of Google AI Pro, including 5 TB of cloud storage, with every new Galaxy Z series device.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, priced from $2,499, is Samsung’s most advanced foldable smartphone. Weighing 215 g and measuring 4.1 mm when unfolded, it features an 8-inch main display, a 200 MP primary camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, a 5,000 mAh battery, 45W fast charging, improved graphite cooling, HDR support for 200 MP photography, 8K video recording with the new APV codec, Cine LUT color controls, and advanced Nightography for improved low-light photography. The large display is designed for multitasking, AI workflows, and professional content creation.

The new Galaxy Z Fold8, starting at $1,899, introduces a redesigned foldable experience focused on immersive content consumption. It is Samsung’s lightest Galaxy Z Fold at just 201 g and combines the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with a 4,800 mAh battery. The foldable features a 10:16 cover display for everyday tasks and a 4:3 main display optimized for gaming, reading, and video. Samsung’s new Flex Titanium display structure improves durability, reduces crease visibility, and enables a thinner design. The display reaches up to 3,000 nits brightness with Vision Booster for improved outdoor visibility. Camera features include dual 50 MP wide and ultra-wide cameras, Dual Recording, and My FanCam, which automatically tracks subjects and reframes videos for social media.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip8, priced from $1,199, is the company’s slimmest Flip smartphone, weighing just 180 g and measuring only 6.1 mm thick. The redesigned AI-native FlexWindow enables users to access apps, notifications, personalized Now Brief insights, and Gemini Intelligence directly from the cover display. The Flip8 features a 50 MP camera powered by the ProVisual Engine, Flex Mode hands-free photography, Camcorder Grip with Zoom Rocker, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock, FlipShot mirror selfies, and Mirror View for quick appearance checks.

Across all three smartphones, Samsung has integrated Galaxy AI more deeply into the user experience. New features include Now Brief, Now Nudge, and Gemini Intelligence, enabling AI-powered automation across more than 40 supported apps and services. Gemini Notebook combines notes, images, files, recordings, and documents into a single AI workspace, while drag-and-drop support in Split View simplifies content creation, allowing users to generate reports, infographics, meeting summaries, audio overviews, and documents with minimal effort.

Samsung has also strengthened security with Samsung Knox, Personal Data Engine, Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP), Knox Vault, a new AI Assistant Activity dashboard, and proactive Privacy Alerts that help users monitor AI activity and protect personal information.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8 are available for pre-order in select markets. Samsung is offering 6 months of Google AI Pro, which includes 5 TB of cloud storage valued at $19.99 per month, along with enhanced Smart Switch migration, AirDrop-compatible Quick Share, and three months of complimentary Samsung Care+ coverage for eligible customers purchasing through Samsung.com.
