Deutsche Telekom plans Capex of 12.7 bn euros in 2019

Deutsche Telekom has revealed how it spent its Capex on network in 2018 and the outlook for 2019.
Deutsche Telekom Capex 2018Deutsche Telekom’s investments before expenses for mobile spectrum reached 12.2 billion euros in 2018. This takes the investments made by the Group worldwide in the last four years to more than 46 billion euros including around 21 billion euros in Germany.

Deutsche Telekom’s Capex reached 4.2 billion euros in Germany, $5.2 billion in US, 1.9 billion euros in Europe and 0.5 billion euros in Systems Solutions in 2018.

Deutsche Telekom is looking for an annual Capex of 12.7 billion euros in 2019 with focus on LTE coverage, fiber network and 5G roll outs.

Deutsche Telekom in its quarterly presentation said it will be spending 7.9 billion euros in Germany and other locations excluding the US as against 8 billion euros in 2018.

Deutsche Telekom’s US business unit T-Mobile will be spending $5.7 billion towards Capex in 2019 as compared with $5.2 billion in 2018.

Deutsche Telekom has generated revenue of 75.7 billion euros (+0.9 percent) including 21.7 billion euros from Germany $43.1 billion from US, 11.9 billion euros from Europe and 6.9 billion euros from Systems Solutions in 2018.
