China Unicom taps Arkadin to launch web collaboration solutions

Telecom Lead Asia: China Unicom has entered into an agreement with Arkadin to
launch new audio and web collaboration solutions provided Arkadin.

Under the agreement, Beijing Unicom, a subsidiary of China Unicom, will offer
Arkadin’s core audio and web collaboration solutions to its clients in China.

Furthermore, Beijing Unicom will rename the services under its iConf brand.
ArkadinAnytime audio conferencing will be named iConf Audio,
ArkadinAnywhere web conferencing will be iConf Web and ArkadinEvent
for large meetings will be iConf Event.

While speaking on the new collaboration, Olivier de Puymorin, founder and CEO of
Arkadin, said that this strategic partnership marks an important milestone in
strengthening Arkadin’s presence in Asia Pacific.

“Beijing Unicom is committed to providing the highest quality services to our customers.
The partnership with Arkadin will enhance our value proposition and help us
deliver on our vision for being an integrated information services provider
with a complete range of collaboration offerings,” said Cui Pucheng, general
manager of marketing, Beijing Unicom.

Founded in 2001, Arkadin is a global collaboration service provider offering a complete
range of remote collaboration solutions from audio, web and video conferencing
to Unified Communications.

Arkadin has a global network of 50 operating centers in 29 countries throughout Asia,
Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and North America. It provides added
value to its base of over 25,500 customers with dedicated, local support.

Arkadin launches new Cloud collaboration platform to enhance
conferencing capabilities

In January, Arkadin launched the Arkadin Cloud Collaboration Platform, which
enables customers to manage their global conferencing needs more efficiently
and with greater return on investment.
