Telecom network operator BSNL has launched data sharing special tariff vouchers (STVs) in south zone.

The state-owned telecom operator is planning to launch data sharing STVs on a pan-India basis for pre-paid mobile subscribers.

The company is offering 11 data sharing packages under this scheme. The price of the data sharing scheme starts from Rs 173 for 1.2 GB for 18 days to Rs 2,013 for 21 GB for 90 days of validity (excluding service tax).

BSNL said the data sharing packages allow sharing of data among a group of pre-paid subscribers. Pre-paid BSNL customer can subscribe to this data pack and share it with other four pre-paid subscribers.

RK Mittal, director of BSNL, said that BSNL is providing community data sharing STVs for all segments of society as per their requirement.

Mobile users can subscribe to community data pack scheme and add accounts – up to four numbers — through the BSNL Web portal. BSNL is not charging for availing this facility.
