AT&T
Telecom network operator AT&T has bagged a contract worth up to $74.6 million over five years from the Defense Information Systems Agency.

As per the contract, AT&T will provide secure telecom services that support U.S. senior leadership communications between select Department of Defense aircraft and ground stations across the continental U.S. and around the world.

Kay Kapoor, president of AT&T Global Business – Public Sector Solutions, said: “When the mission is vital and national security is at stake, our nation’s leaders count on the AT&T network.”

AT&T will provide long-haul telecommunications and related transmission circuits to support the US government’s restricted-use, ultra-high frequency communications platform. The services are highly reliable and resilient to keep continuous communications under duress.
