that American Founders Bank has selected it to provide voice and data services
to the financial institution’s seven locations in Kentucky.
tw telecom is delivering American Founders Bank a
comprehensive suite of new networking solutions including Business Ethernet, 30
MB IP VPN, 30 MB Ethernet Internet Service (EIS) and digital
voice/voice-over-IP services as part of a multi-year agreement.

increase by utilizing fiber optic connectivity, which will improve our disaster
recovery capabilities and decrease the overall cost of our services,” said
Tommy Burgett, senior vice president and CTO of American Founders Bank.
The new services enable American Founders Bank to connect
its remote branches and headquarter locations more efficiently, securely and
cost effectively.
tw telecom has the third highest market share of retail
Ethernet ports in service and with its own metro fiber networks and one of the
ten most interconnected IP backbones in the world.
