Airtel offers free voice calls to broadband customers

Indian telecom service provider Bharti Airtel on Sunday announced free voice calls to its broadband customers.
Recently, the state-run telecom operator BSNL announced free voice calls from its land phones in night hours to any mobile and landline networks.
The strategy of Bharti Airtel, the second largest fixed broadband service provider is to enhance its customer base.
Airtel, promoted by Sunil Mittal, will allow its broadband users to make voice calls to any network in the country any time.

The Indian telecom service provider has launched two voice calling packs for its broadband users offering unlimited free voice calls to any number in India on any network, both fixed line and mobile, round the clock.
Airtel is offering unlimited free local calls for Rs 49 per month and unlimited free STD + local calls for Rs. 99.
However, the special offer is for non-commercial use.

Existing customers can opt for the packs by sending an SMS <UNL49> to 53636 for the Rs 49 pack or <UNL99> to 53636 for the Rs 99 pack from their registered mobile number. New customers can book a new broadband connection to avail these offers by sending an SMS <VOICE> to 53636.

Airtel fixed-line telephone and broadband services (DSL) for homes is present in 87 cities in India.
