Indian telecom operator Aircel has posted adjusted gross revenue of Rs 11,164 crore (+41 percent) in 2016 against Rs 7,914 crore in 2015.
Aircel has 90.88 million wireless subscribers including 31.68 million in rural India in 2016. Aircel has 6.76 percent share in Indian rural markets, TRAI data shows.
The wireless subscriber base of Aircel has increased to 90.88 million in December 2016 from 85.63 million in December 2015, despite touch competition from Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone and Reliance Jio in the second half of last year.
But its wireless market share fell to 7.89 percent from 8.26 percent, according to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Aircel has 18162631 Internet subscribers including 12040270 narrowband subscribers and 6122361 broadband subscribers in India.
