The jury of TelecomLead Awards 2017 has decided to present TelecomLead Tower Company award to American Tower Corporation for supporting the growth of Indian telecom industry and technology innovation in the last 12 months.
Despite the adverse market conditions resulting from the consolidation of telecom companies and the popularity of small cells, which in turn reduced the demand for macro cells, American Tower Corporation’s financials continued to remain strong throughout the year. With mobile broadband as its strong focus point, the company is optimistic about its tower business.

Satya N Gupta, Jury Chairman and Jury Members including Ravindra Kr Mishra, Rakesh Mehrotra, Girish Trivedi and Baburajan Kizhakedath decided the winners of the TelecomLead Awards 2017 through two rounds of jury meeting in June / July 2017.
