Telco Systems to upgrade fiber network of Internet Solutions Kenya

Telco Systems for telecom networksInternet Solutions Kenya has selected Telco Systems to upgrade its fiber network infrastructure to 10GB.

Internet Solutions Kenya provides advanced Cloud, communication, connectivity and carrier services to public and private sector organizations in Kenya and across East Africa.

Telco Systems, a provider of CE 2.0, MPLS, IP and SDN & NFV solutions, will be providing automated software-defined network with the capacity to support 10GE as part of the network upgrade project in Africa.

Internet Solutions Kenya will also gain from the orchestrated network, rapid service provisioning, simplified network deployment and maintenance activities. Telco Systems will supply its EdgeGenie Orchestrator service management system along its T-Metro 7124, T-Marc 3348 and T-Marc 3308 demarcation devices.

Telco Systems said Internet Solutions Kenya will improve the quality of its services, support more data traffic and meet the growing bandwidth requirements of its customers by upgrading its network capacity to 10GE.

This network upgrade will provide Internet Solutions Kenya with full MPLS services across all parts of the fiber network all the way to the customer. This network upgrade will include the latest MEF 2.0 standards, which will allow Internet Solutions Kenya to deliver more robust services to their customers.
