Sterlite Tech revenue up 14%, EBITDA up 44%

SterliteSterlite Tech has posted revenue of Rs 836 crore (+14 percent), EBITDA of Rs 208 crore (+44 percent) and net profit of Rs 90 crore (+83 percent) in the third quarter ended December 31, 2017.

Order book position of Sterlite Tech stands at Rs 4,573 crore (+71 percent) during the third quarter.

Sterlite Tech generated international revenue of Rs 505 crore (+78 percent) – representing 60 percent of revenues.

Sterlite Tech will be enhancing its capacity from 30 million fibre km to 50 million fibre km by June 2019.

The number of patent grew to 169 including global patents for network architecture, high-capacity fibre manufacturing, and advanced glass composition.
