SK Telecom to use Agilent Technologies PXT for hybrid network demo

By Telecom Lead Team: SK Telecom will be using Agilent
Technologies E6621A PXT wireless communications test set for hybrid network
demonstration during Mobile World Congress 2012.

The SK Telecom solution allows two networks of different
technology and frequency band to work as one, doubling the speed of the
Internet connection.

For the LTE + WiFi service demonstration, which allows
high-speed wireless Internet connections, the Agilent E66621A PXT wireless
communications test set will be used as the LTE network emulator to ensure a
high data rate on the LTE network, providing a stable test environment.

The Agilent E6621A PXT provides a stable high data rate
and has an easy-to-use user interface. Support for network handover between LTE
and 3G, in particular, was very useful in the demonstration run-up, according
to SK Telecom.

SK Telecom’s choice of the Agilent E6621A PXT for the
Mobile World Congress demonstration is a real substantiation point for the
product. The PXT has great functionality and delivers reliable data throughput
testing. This is why the PXT was a clear choice for SK Telecom,” said Shin
Seung-chul, wireless marketing engineer, Agilent Technologies, Korea.
