Sidera Networks fiber network delivers security to Latisys Data Center

Sidera Networks, a provider of fiber optic-based network
solutions, announced that it has expanded its fiber network to add several new
data centers in Northern Virginia, including Latisys’ state-of-the-art data
center campus in Ashburn.

“We are seeing increasing adoption of high-density
computing each year. This, combined with the rising costs of power, is making
our data center and colocation services the ideal solution for enterprises from
all industries as well as government agencies and service providers,” said
David Haskell, regional sales director, Latisys-Ashburn.

“Sidera’s network provides the accessibility,
reliability and flexibility we require to ensure top performance of our
customers’ mission-critical applications,” Haskell added.

The Latisys-Ashburn campus includes a newly built 71,800
square foot state-of-the-art datacenter,
plus an adjacent 63,000 square foot facility with over 40 megawatts of
available power capacity.

Latisys-Ashburn provides businesses with enterprise-class
security and high quality support combined with premium bandwidth options,
including first rate, fiber-based connectivity from Sidera Networks.

“Industry leading data center providers, such as
Latisys are constantly looking to offer
their clients more, especially as it relates to communications services. Our
high capacity, customizable network offers the flexibility and reliability
these facilities need to address the demanding requirements of the businesses
they serve,” said Maura Mahoney, vice president, Marketing and Business
Development.

“The businesses colocated at this facility can
leverage Sidera’s network for high capacity, low latency connections, and
benefit from working with a trusted partner committed to optimizing its
clients’ business performance,” Mahoney added
