Sercomm Corporation, a leading manufacturer of telecom and broadband equipment, has announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico.
This facility — located on the US-Mexico border — represents a significant milestone in Sercomm’s glocalization strategy, reinforcing its dedication to meeting customer demands in the North American and LATAM markets.
The Tijuana manufacturing facility offers strategic proximity to the market, enabling enhanced supply chain responsiveness and real-time engineering engagement with broadband service providers. With a focus on professional video streaming products, the facility leverages AI-enabled production lines to ensure high-quality control and improved labor productivity.
The Mexico facility serves as a regional hub and joins Sercomm’s existing production bases in Taiwan, China, India, and the Philippines. This network of facilities provides Sercomm with multi-site, near-shore manufacturing flexibility, empowering the company to better cater to customer needs and strengthen its global market position.
Sercomm Chairman James Wang highlighted the company’s operational excellence and its commitment to close collaboration with customers in response to the rapidly evolving demands of the North American and LATAM markets.
