Samsung Showcases Galaxy AI, Intelligent Networks and Next-Gen Devices at MWC 2026

Samsung Electronics is presenting a broader vision that positions Galaxy AI as an agentic, deeply personalized companion across mobile devices, wearables, PCs and network infrastructure at Mobile World Congress 2026.

MWC 2026 Samsung

The company’s showcase goes beyond smartphones, underlining its strategy to integrate AI across the entire Galaxy ecosystem while also highlighting AI-driven network innovations that extend from consumer devices to enterprise and telecom infrastructure.

Galaxy S26 Series Leads the Agentic AI Vision

At the center of Samsung’s presentation is the new Galaxy S26 series, the company’s third-generation AI smartphone lineup. Designed for intuitive and proactive user experiences, the Galaxy S26 series introduces advanced hardware and software integration to support agentic AI capabilities.

The flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by the customized Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, delivering enhanced performance for AI-intensive applications. A redesigned vapor chamber ensures stable thermal management, supporting sustained flagship-level performance.

Among the standout innovations is the industry-first built-in Privacy Display for mobile devices, allowing users to control on-screen visibility without compromising viewing quality.

Samsung’s upgraded camera system further strengthens its AI positioning. The Galaxy S26 Ultra features wider apertures for improved low-light photography, enhanced Nightography video with better noise reduction, and an upgraded Super Steady video mode with horizontal lock for cinematic stabilization. AI-powered Photo Assist allows users to edit images through natural voice commands, while Creative Studio enables personalized stickers, wallpapers and stylized image transformations.

Proactive AI features include Now Nudge, which offers contextual suggestions in real time, and Now Brief, delivering personalized daily briefings. Circle to Search with Google enables smarter multi-object image searches, while an upgraded Bixby operates as a conversational device agent. Users can also choose alternative AI agents such as Gemini and Perplexity through a unified interface, streamlining cross-app actions.

Expanding the Galaxy Ecosystem

Samsung is reinforcing seamless AI integration across its broader device portfolio. The Galaxy Buds4 series enhances AI-driven convenience through intelligent audio interactions, while the newly launched Galaxy Book6 Pro and Galaxy Book6 Ultra demonstrate optimized productivity with high-performance computing.

The Galaxy Tab S11 brings large-screen AI experiences tailored for multitasking, and the Galaxy Watch8 series delivers personalized wellness insights covering running, sleep and mindfulness.

This cross-device cohesion underscores Samsung’s ambition to create a unified, AI-powered ecosystem where data and intelligence move fluidly between smartphones, wearables, tablets and PCs.

Intelligent Infrastructure and Connected Care

Samsung is extending its AI strategy beyond consumer electronics into intelligent infrastructure. Through its AI-Driven Factories initiative, the company aims to transition global manufacturing operations into autonomous, AI-powered facilities by 2030. By combining AI agents, digital twin simulations and real-time analytics, Samsung seeks to optimize production efficiency, strengthen quality control and enhance operational resilience.

In digital health, Samsung is advancing its Connected Care vision, strengthened by the acquisition of Xealth in 2025. By integrating health metrics across the Galaxy ecosystem into Samsung Health, the company aims to enable proactive and continuous health management. At the clinical level, Xealth allows health systems to embed digital tools and patient data into physician workflows across hundreds of hospitals, enabling prescription and monitoring of digital care programs.

Next-Generation Form Factors and Security

At MWC 2026, Samsung is also presenting emerging device concepts, including hands-on experiences with Galaxy XR and Galaxy TriFold. These next-generation form factors highlight Samsung’s long-term commitment to immersive computing and foldable innovation.

The company is emphasizing its Galaxy Foundation initiative, focusing on privacy, sustainability and responsible AI development. Advancements in Samsung Knox and hardware-based protection technologies further reinforce device security across the ecosystem.

Expanding Satellite Connectivity

Samsung is expanding satellite communication capabilities for select Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy S26 series, through partnerships with telecom operators in North America, Europe and Japan. Designed for emergency response and essential communication when terrestrial networks are unavailable, satellite support has been available on select Galaxy flagship and Galaxy A series models since 2025. The rollout continues in phases, subject to regional network availability and regulatory approvals.

AI-Powered Networks and Autonomous Operations

Samsung’s Networks business is showcasing its vision for end-to-end software-driven, AI-native networks. By supporting high-performance computing platforms from ecosystem partners, Samsung enables operators to deploy AI-driven services and scale network innovation more efficiently.

Central to this strategy is Samsung CognitiV Network Operations Suite, featuring Agent Fabric – a decision intelligence layer that enables multi-agent AI systems. These agents manage the entire network lifecycle, from planning and installation to optimization and user experience management. Live demonstrations of multi-agent orchestration are being presented at the event. Samsung is also unveiling “Network in a Server,” a software-driven edge AI solution that consolidates multiple network functions into a single server powered by advanced processors. The solution enables enterprises to deploy AI applications such as safety monitoring and AR overlays that require low-latency local processing.
