Radware India revenue from telecoms surges 54 percent

Radware, a provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions, said its India revenues rose 24.5 percent in 2015 — fuelled by Indian telecom segment.

The technology company’s acquisition of new clients grew 33 percent, while its revenue from existing clients increased 11 percent.

Radware said it posted 20 percent growth in its security solutions business and 14 percent in its Application Delivery Controller (ADC).

Radware has clients across telecom, government, BFSI and enterprise sectors. Revenues from Indian telecom sector increased 54 percent, said Radware.

Nikhil Taneja, managing director – India & SAARC at Radware, said: “Rising demand from cloud and communications service providers, and prioritization of ADCs for IPv4-IPv6 address translation are the key driver of the application delivery and application security solutions market in India.”

Radware is trying to cash in on the ADC market in India which is expected to grow between 8 to 10 percent till 2018.

Roy Zisapel, president and chief executive officer of Radware, said: “Along with our comprehensive application delivery and attack mitigation technology and customer centric approach, we are in the perfect position to grow our market share in this region.”
