NDS to drive Bouygues Telecom new IPTV platform

Telecom has selected NDS to support the deployment of its next generation IPTV
platform including their new set-top box (STB), the Bbox.

 

NDS
is providing its STB integration services for the launch of the new platform,
together with integration consultancy and a selection of critical software
components to enable an enhanced pay-TV experience.

 

The NDS set-top box software components to be deployed by
Bouygues Telecom include a graphical engine to power an enhanced user
experience with HD and 3D capability.

 

Additionally, application manager engine by NDS will
enable the development and management of a whole host of innovative new apps
based on HTML5 and Flash.

leading operators around the world, including Comcast, Cox Communications and
Charter Communications.

set-top box software and solutions to enable an enhanced subscriber experience
for leading French operators including CANAL+ and SFR.

 

A few months back, Kabel Deutschland, Germany’s largest cable operator deployed NDS’ technologies in
their new HD set-top box (STB).
