Juniper Networks adds Security Management Systems as its partner

Telecom Lead America: Juniper Networks announced the
addition of Security Management Systems (SMS), a leading integrator of IP-based
security solutions, as its partner.

 

As a partner, SMS will now be offering and supporting
solutions from Juniper’s line of EX, SRX and switching and routing gear. These
products will be made available to its diverse range of clients in real estate,
healthcare, education, datacenter and other key vertical markets.

 

“Our goal is to provide customers with the optimum
security solutions with best in class equipment supported by exceptional
customer service,” said Craig Albrecht, SMS vice president.  “We’re pleased to be part of this program and look
forward to partnering on major integrated security projects incorporating
Juniper solutions.”

 

As one of the few major physical security integrators in
the Northeast in the partner program, SMS’ staff has undergone significant
training and certifications with the commitment to deliver high-performance
security solutions for their customers riding the JUNOS platform.

 

In addition to Juniper Networks, SMS has significant
reseller partnership relationships with AMAG, Verint, Genetec and CISCO.

 

 Juniper and Nokia Siemens unveil integrated packet transport
network solution

 

Recently Juniper Networks and Nokia Siemens Networks
announced the launch of the integrated packet transport network solution. The
new solution includes Juniper Networks PTX packet transport switches and Nokia
Siemens Networks hiT 7300 optical packet transport platform.
