This automated and intelligent facility will specialize in 4G and 5G equipment, and will primarily manufacture supplies for European customers.

The proposed telecom equipment manufacturing plant will add to Huawei’s value chain within Europe, improving the timeliness and reliability of Huawei’s deliveries to European customers.

Huawei aims to make an investment of over 200 million euros for this new plant. The world’s largest telecom equipment maker did not reveal the time frame to open the network manufacturing facility.

The manufacturing facility will also have a demo center, showcasing the wireless base station production, software loading, and testing process. The center will be open to carriers, governments, and related authorities.

This manufacturing project will generate 1 billion euros worth of products annually and directly create 500 jobs. Huawei has operated in Europe for 20 years, directly employing over 12,000 employees.
