Huawei secures $1.6 bn syndicated credit facilities

Telecom network vendor Huawei Technologies today said its two subsidiaries have secured $1.6 billion credit facilities.

This marks Huawei’s first syndicated facility that comes mainly from European banks.

Huawei has deployed its products and solutions in more than 170 countries and regions, serving more than one third of the world’s population.

“It is the first time our European subsidiary – Huawei Technologies issued syndicated facility as one of the joint borrowers. This symbolizes that the level of trust and cooperation between Huawei and our partners has been raised to new heights,” said Evan Bai, president of Treasury of Huawei Group.
