Huawei launches global network evolution & experience center

Telecom Lead Asia:
Huawei has launched its first Global Network Evolution & Experience Center (GNEEC).

The GNEEC — that covers an area of 1,500 square meters — will assist telecom operators to manage challenges during the network evolution process. In addition, the GNEEC helps operators select the optimum network evolution solution.

The GNEEC has more than 200 equipments from eight network  infrastructure vendors, offering multi-generation E2E network systems to telecom service providers.

Mobile operators can perform multi-vendor interoperability tests on over 30 network evolution plans. They can also do independent testing and professional services areas to ensure that the GNEEC can simulate all the major network evolution processes deployed in today’s global markets.

Huawei claims that GNEEC can achieve predictable results, verifiable solutions, manageable processes and an assured service.

Huawei GNEEC has generated a significant high level interest in the telecommunications industry with more than 90 CXOs having toured this new facility. GNEEC has already helped more than 12 operators to test and verify their network evolution plans.
