Huawei’s Rotating Chairman Eric Xu, in a new-year message, has revealed the company has achieved a revenue of 636.9 billion yuan or $91.53 billion in 2022.
That marks a 0.4 percent increase from 2021, when China-based Huawei reported revenues of 634 billion yuan, according to Reuters calculations. The achievement is significant because Huawei is still facing restrictions in some of the global telecom markets.

This past year, Huawei ICT infrastructure business maintained steady growth, and the decline in device business has abated. Huawei achieved rapid growth in digital power and Huawei Cloud, and took the competitiveness and user experience of intelligent automotive components to new heights, Huawei’s Chief said .
“2023 will be the first year that we return to business as usual with external restrictions still in place. It will be a crucial year for us, so we need to actively drive progress, keep inspiring passion across the organization, and further hone our capabilities. We need to be proactive about improving the business environment and more effectively managing risks,” Eric Xu said.
