Huawei announces drinking water project in Bengaluru

Huawei India CSR activityTelecom equipment and software major Huawei has launched a drinking water project for villages in Bengaluru – as part of its CSR activity.

Huawei conducted the ground breaking ceremony for the construction and installation of RO plants at Panathur, Mullur and Seetharampalya villages under Mahadevapura Constituency, Bengaluru.

The RO plant installation program, a 50:50 joint initiative between Huawei and the MLA (Under the MLA Local Development Grant Scheme), will ensure clean drinking water to villages of Nallurahalli, Seetharampalya, Mullur and Panathur.

Huawei has also launched the provision of clean drinking water program in villages in and around Whitefield, in partnership with the MLA of Mahadevapura Constituency, Arvind Limbavali.

Each RO plant has a capacity to dispense 500 units of 20 liters of drinking water every day.
