Dell’Oro Group has lowered its outlook for microwave transmission equipment saying the growth will be one percent as a result of the sharp slowdown in mobile networks. The report did not reveal the specific revenue of the microwave transmission equipment industry.

Revenue associated with mobile backhaul declined 11 percent in the quarter. The report did not reveal the revenue for the mobile backhaul industry.

Among the major regions for microwave installations for wireless backhaul, India had the steepest decline, shrinking by 50 percent compared to the year-ago quarter.
