Ericsson to demo Adaptive Inventory 9.3 at TM Forum

Ericsson today said its Adaptive Inventory 9.3, which brings the full visibility and control that operators need to advance networks, will be on display at TM Forum Live! on June 1-4, 2015 in Nice, France.

The telecom network company said Ericsson Adaptive Inventory 9.3 includes autonomy to build new technologies, capabilities, web-based GUIs and applications. The launch will assist telecom operators which are spending more on software to speed cloud deployments, virtualizing network functions and grappling with surging data traffic.

“Access to accurate network data positions telecom operators for better decision-making, including the ability to predict the future-state network from a combination of current and proposed network plans,” said Elisabetta Romano, VP Head of OSS & Service Enablement, Ericsson.

Ericsson Adaptive Inventory, formerly Ericsson Granite Inventory, uses data from a range of available sources to offer the complete view of a network at any given moment, including past, present and future configurations. Faster service rollouts, improved trouble resolution and network efficiencies are the outcome of the deployment of the latest version of Ericsson Adaptive Inventory.

Meanwhile, Pegasystems and Ericsson announced their partnership to help telecoms to utilize customer data and business context to anticipate customer needs in real time. Through the combination of the Pega Marketing application’s Next-Best-Action capabilities and Ericsson’s existing OSS/BSS product and services portfolio, telecoms will be able to deliver personalized and consistent interaction to enhance every phase of a customer’s journey.

“This latest partnership will enable us to jointly offer operators an end-to-end portfolio of marketing and customer engagement, customer service, business process management, and operations solutions,” said John Barone, VP and General Manager, Corporate Markets Global Alliances, Pegasystems.
