Ericsson Reveals Drop in Salary to Borje Ekholm and Fredrik Jejdling

The 2023 annual report of Ericsson has revealed the salary paid to Borje Ekholm, its CEO, and Fredrik Jejdling, Head of Business Area Networks.
Ericsson Radios MWC 2024Borje Ekholm, President and CEO of Ericsson, has received salary of SEK 49,872,530 in 2023 as compared with SEK 53,180,945 in 2022 and SEK 64,964,053 in 2021.

Fredrik Jejdling, Executive Vice President and Head of Business Area Networks of Ericsson, has received salary of SEK 15,310,698 in 2023 as compared with SEK 23,725,958 in 2022 and SEK 24,222,193 in 2021.

Ericsson said the number of employees on December 31, 2023, was 99,952 (105,529), a total decrease of 5,577 employees in 2023. The decrease in the number of employees
was mainly related to cost-reduction activities.

The number of R&D employees was 28,219 (29,304) and the number of granted patents amounted to more than 60,000.
