Ericsson announced that Stella Medlicott, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, and Head of Corporate Relations, will step down from her role and leave the company effective March 31, 2026.

Medlicott, who joined Ericsson in 2014, has been a key member of the Executive Team since 2019. The company confirmed that a transition plan is already underway to ensure smooth leadership continuity.

Over more than a decade at Ericsson, Medlicott has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s brand, communications, and global positioning.

She has helped the company navigate significant change, evolve the brand in line with strategy, and lead cultural transformation. After more than six years in this role, we agreed this is the right time for a change.”
Stella Medlicott said: “After more than 11 incredible years at Ericsson, I have decided to pursue new opportunities. Serving on the Executive Team has been a privilege, and working with such talented people has been inspiring. We’ve faced extraordinary times, but I have always been impressed by the professionalism, heart, and integrity of Ericsson.”
Ericsson’s Future Outlook
With Medlicott’s departure, Ericsson is expected to continue its focus on 5G, AI-driven networks, and global technology leadership. The company has not yet named her successor.
