Epic selects Ericsson for supplying 5G RAN

Epic has selected Ericsson for supplying 5G radio access network (RAN) and modernize their existing network in Malta.
Ericsson Radio basestation antennasTamas Banyai, CEO of Epic, said: “The modernization of radio network and the deployment of the latest 5G technology means that our customers can expect significant improvements in mobile connectivity with higher speeds and lower latency.”

Ericsson has 135 commercial 5G agreements and contracts with unique operators, of which 77 are publicly announced 5G deals, including 83 live 5G networks in 41 countries.
