CommScope announced that Morgan Kurk is stepping down as chief technology officer (CTO) and segment leader of Broadband Networks.
CommScope has appointed Tom Cloonan, PhD, currently chief technology officer of the Broadband Networks segment, as chief technology officer on an interim basis as the company evaluates its strategic requirements of the CTO office.
Tom Cloonan, who joined CommScope through the ARRIS acquisition, is an industry veteran with a well-established track record of innovative technology leadership.
The company also appointed Ric Johnsen, senior vice president of the Converged Network Solutions (CNS) business, as the head of the Broadband Networks segment.
