Cisco selected by Indosat Ooredoo for 5G for business

Indosat Ooredoo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cisco for the development of next-generation connectivity solutions for businesses.
Cisco MWC 2018 BarcelonaCisco aims to work with Indosat Ooredoo on its architectural transformation as part of the agreement. The partnership also seeks to strengthen Indosat Ooredoo’s mobile and fiber network for more commercial launches of 5G and high-speed connectivity service, said Ahmad Al-Neama, President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo, in a statement.

“Our collaboration with Indosat Ooredoo will deliver the network infrastructure powered software-defined routed optical networks, which will enable service agility and digital value plays for small, medium, and large enterprises in the 5G era,” said Sanjay Kaul, President Asia Pacific and Japan, Service Provider Business, Cisco Systems.
