Aricent elevates CP Murali as president and COO

Telecom software vendor Aricent has elevated CP Murali as its president and chief operating officer (COO).

Murali, who has been with Aricent for close to two decades and responsible for product engineering services since 2007, will continue to report to CEO Frank Kern.

As president and COO, Murali will be responsible for providing ongoing direction to all business units, offering guidance to all functions and working with the company’s sales and marketing organizations.

Aricent elevates CP Murali as president and COO

Murali, who is based in India, where Aricent has its largest population of employees, will continue to spend a significant part of his time with Aricent’s clients to ensure their satisfaction with the company’s delivery and quality.

Prior to joining Aricent in 1994, Murali served at the Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), New Delhi, where he was part of the pioneering software engineering team that designed and developed indigenous Digital Switching Systems for the Indian market.
