ACME installs Li-ion based energy storage solution for Tower Vision

ACME has installed its Li-ion based Energy Storage Solution for telecom tower company Tower Vision.

This installation marks ACME’s entry into Indian market.

ACME did not share specific details on the number of installations.

Samir Sharan, chief executive officer, ACME said: “This solution is the future of energy storage and holds great prospects for high energy-consuming sectors like telecom, realty, renewables and many more. This will help users to eliminate their diesel generators and cut down on the carbon footprint.”

The storage solution will grab 50 percent share globally in the energy storage segment by 2020, a statement from ACME. Energy storage application can provide 20-25 percent of annual savings in current fuel cost to the operators.
