Micromax Canvas Tab P650, a 3G tablet, will be priced at 16,500. The new tablet is aimed at strengthening Micromax presence in the Indian tablet market which is dominated by Samsung with 19 percent market share.
Market research agency IDC has recently shared the market share list of top tablet makers in India in the second quarter of 2013. Samsung leads the tablet market share with 19 percent share in India. Micromax market share in the second quarter was 8.5 percent. Karbonn is in the third position with 7.8 percent share in the Indian tablet space. The 3G tablet offers around 5 hours of browsing time, Micromax said on Wednesday.

This is the first tab in the Canvas series runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) upgradable via FOTA.
Micromax Canvas Tab P650 features the video player where one can watch a video and at the same time preview another video with ease (multiple video view), pause the video when you are not looking at the screen (look away pause), or use the option of video pinning to continue surfing on the tab while the video continues to run, the tablet promises superior application performance.

The latest tablet has 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB.
