Ericsson deploys OSS fulfillment suite for 4G operator Reliance Jio

EricssonTelecom equipment and software major Ericsson today said it has deployed OSS fulfillment suite for Indian 4G operator Reliance Jio Infocomm.

Ericsson said its OSS fulfillment suite includes order management, inventory management and activation enabling faster onboarding and quality service for end users.

Jio is the world’s largest LTE only operator and the fastest growing digital services company having reached a subscriber base of 100 million in 170 days.

“The deployment of the OSS stack by Ericsson, which by far is the largest deployment by any single operator anywhere in the world, is helping us in critical areas like order management and activation solutions thereby giving customers an enhanced user experience,” said Jyotindra Thacker, president, Reliance Jio Infocomm.

Paolo Colella, head of Region India, Ericsson, said Jio represents one of the largest deployments of the company’s OSS platform globally.

“With capabilities in OSS / BSS and System Integration, Ericsson will continue to partner Jio in enabling its vision of providing a future-ready network for every Indian,” Paolo Colella said.
