Telecom Provider MTS in pact with 4moles.com for live scoring mobile app for golf

Telecom Lead India: Leading telecom provider MTS
announced the launch of an innovative Live Scoring mobile app for golf, in
partnership with 4moles.com.

The app will run on specially configured MTS smartphones
during Panasonic Open India 2012, a part of PGA Asian Tour, which will find
participation from professional golfers like Anirban Lahiri, Manav Jaini, and
Sujjan Singh. The app, running on MTS Pulse & MTS MTag 3.1
smartphones, will provide LIVE scores to all 156 Golfers fighting it out in the
championship.

The App calculates net scores of each of the players and
sends an update to all live leader boards basis individual hole-by-hole score
entered through MTS smartphones stationed at all the putting holes. Leader
boards can in real time on each handheld device, plasma screens on the course,
plasma screens in the clubhouse and live on the Internet.

MTS is excited to announce its partnership with 4moles.
Together, we have developed an exciting App for Panasonic Open India 2012,”
said Shankar Bali, chief operating officer, Delhi NCR
and Haryana Circle, MTS India. This innovative App running on MTS
smartphones enables golfers to get access to live scores with real time updates
on all competing participants, making the tournament all the more exciting for
them.”

The live scoring app drastically reduces the time lag
involved in traditional scoring. Traditionally scoring was done manually
wherein volunteers carry walkie-talkies and relay the information to a central
point, where it is fed into a console. This has a time lag of about 10-15
minutes between the scores per hole of each player.

The application also has the features to be used for LIVE
SCORING at corporate events and also for personal Scoring by a golfer.
