PV America event to focus solar energy growth markets on both coasts

By Telecom Lead Team: Telenity, a provider of location
based services and messaging platforms and solutions, has launched
Canvas SmartOffer, a location-based subscriber acquisition solution for
mobile data and data-driven services.

Canvas SmartOffer builds on Telenity’s Canvas SmartAds, a
mobile marketing solution, which brings a new perspective to promotion of
operator services and subscriber acquisition.

Canvas SmartOffer is a location-based offer-try-subscribe
system that starts with location profiling of a targeted subscriber base. It
enables the end users to experience the service before making a purchase
decision.

Canvas SmartOffer enables operators to offer a trial
opportunity of the promoted service such as 3G data plan subscriptions or
upgrades, video calling and other value added applications based on video
streaming to targeted subscribers at a time when they are more likely to make a
purchasing decision..

The segmentation of the target subscribers is partly
based on location profiling. The determination of a favorable place for the
offer is based on the quality of mobile data coverage and the time of the offer
is determined by location-based behavioral analysis.

“In the next couple of years, we expect operators to
place strong focus on subscriber acquisition with innovative targeting tools
and attractive pricing models,” said Osman Perksoy, VP Product Management
and Marketing at Telenity.

The company added that its Canvas SmartOffer will not
only help mobile operators reduce their marketing costs by creating awareness
with the right set of customers, but it will also enable them to increase their
acquisition rates by offering the best service experience possible at the right
time, followed with a call to action to subscribe.

Recently, Telenity announced that Turkcell has
selected its Canvas CSP. Telenity’s
converged services platform components will be deployed in Turkcell’s Telco 2.0
Service Provider Gateway (SPGW).
