Microsoft veteran joins Velti to handle revenue strategy

Telecom Lead America: Mobile marketing and advertising
technology provider Velti has hired Harry Patz as chief revenue officer.


Patz joins Velti after 20 years of experience at
Microsoft, where he recently served as vice president of the Communications
Sector North America for Mobile, Media Video, Cloud and Enterprise.


At Velti, Patz will be responsible for driving the
revenue strategy and operations in North America.


Harry has an outstanding reputation in the industry for
producing results. We’re looking forward to having him play an integral role as
we continue to grow our presence in the U.S,” said Alex Moukas, CEO of Velti.

said Patz.


At Microsoft, Patz managed and grew $1 billion of the Microsoft
Communications Sector Business in North America and was recognized for his work
with the FY10 U.S. Subsidiary Industry of the Year award. His diverse portfolio
extends to mentoring and incubating a number of startups, acting as the
president and founder of Gondolin Advisors, serving on numerous advisory boards
including Wavo and Notesolution and providing advisory services to Verizon’s
Telematics Business.


Recently, Velti hired Jesper Helt, SVP of Human
Resources. Helt hails from SuccessFactors, where he served as VP of Business
HR. He had joint responsibility for overall company and personnel strategy,
successfully revamping the entire on-boarding experience to maximize
productivity and immersion in company values and brand ambassadorship. He’s also
held prior roles at Hewlett Packard and Novo Nordisk A/S.


Led by a strong executive team, Velti continues to shape
