M2M DataSmart and CAL Communications announce M2M marketing agreement

M2M DataSmart and CAL Communications announced a
partnership that will provide CAL Communications with the ability to offer M2M
airtime services for customers implementing M2M solutions.

CAL Communications, a certified Minority Business
Enterprise (MBE/DBE, VOSB), will be providing turnkey M2M solutions to its
customers. As Chicago’s Minority Business experts in Voice / Data, CAL
Communications can now provide Chicago M2M solutions for such applications as
water control, lighting control, parking meter control, asset tracking and many
more developing applications that are now emerging as the use for M2M
technology continues to develop.

By partnering with M2M DataSmart,
an M2M Airtime Aggregator (a Sprint Wholesale Partner), CAL Communications can
now offer M2M solutions that are cost effective, simple to implement and can be
quickly deployed.

Today many M2M solutions can be used to cost effectively
replace applications that are using expensive wireline connectivity such as
streetlights, meters, etc., In addition with the implementation of M2M
solutions — wireless can provide additional services and information that
cannot be achieved today.

This new partnership now allows M2M implementation easily
— fast and cost effective with the use of the most competitive M2M airtime
pricing of M2M DataSmart combined with the expertise and experience of CAL Communications.

Our customers need help in making the transition into
the use of M2M for their applications — it is hard to put all of the pieces of
an M2M solution together (the right airtime pricing, the application software,
the user interface and finally the physical deployment); CAL Communications is
the perfect partner to be able to provide turnkey solutions to our customers,”
said Marc Adams, director of Business Development for M2M DataSmart.

Working with our partner CAL Communications, we can
provide our customers with a single point of contact for deployment of M2M
devices on the Sprint CDMA network. Partnerships like these make it easier,
faster and more cost-efficient for commercial deployment of M2M,” Adams added.

The expansion into the emerging M2M market is a natural
way to leverage our extensive experience with our existing customers,” said
Carlos A. Lopez, president of CAL Communications.

“Our goal is to make deploying M2M solutions easier
and cheaper. To help with that we go beyond the technology to make it happen —
we also are looking at the business side — as a certified MBE/DBE and Veteran
Owned Small Business we also bring certified business qualifications to our
customers,” Lopez added.

“Utilizing the Nationwide Sprint Network is a boon
to partnerships such as the agreement between CAL Communication and M2M
Datasmart,” said Matt Carter, president, Global Wholesale Solutions at
Sprin.

“Local customers benefit when experienced solution
providers team up on Sprint’s reliable 3G network, which makes the
implementation of M2M systems and applications easier, faster and
cheaper,” Carter added.
