Globe Telecom announces Globe Charge mobile point-of-sale (POS) unit

Globe Telecom today announced Global Charge that integrates a smartphone and a mobile card reader into a mobile point-of-sale (POS) unit.

Globe Telecom said the new solution will empower small and medium businesses (SMBs) with a convenient payment device and eliminate the need for traditional and more expensive card terminals.

Globe Charge, launched through Globe Telecom’s wholly-owned subsidiary G-Xchange, the operator of GCash, is powered by GXI’s safe and secure platform.
