ZyXEL Communications, a provider of secure broadband
networking, Internet connectivity, home entertainment and routing products
announced the availability of the NBG5715, a simultaneous dual-band, 450Mbps
wireless-N router.
A premium model in ZyXEL’s wireless-N series, the NBG5715
creates two separate, concurrent networks to double performance compared to a
traditional router.
This enables consumers to browse the Internet over the
standard 2.4 GHz band, while high-bandwidth, low-latency activities, such as
streaming Internet movies or playing lag-free games online, can be performed
over the 5 GHz band.
The router also uniquely features two USB ports to
accommodate sharing both a printer and a storage device over the network.
An innovative design that incorporates three MIMO antennas,
ZyXEL’s NBG5715 is capable of transfer rates up to 450Mbps simultaneously on
both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio bands.
This design offers power users maximum flexibility in
planning a high-performance home network. It’s also ideal for families with
home offices who can now separate business and home network on different
frequency bands.
Two built-in NetUSB ports allow families to share multiple
peripheral devices, like storage, printers and scanners, over the home network.
To ensure reliable wall-to-wall wireless connectivity
throughout the home, the NBG5715 applies an innovative SmartRange technology,
which pinpoints wireless clients like laptops and tablets and transmits
directly to them.
Further enhanced with four Gigabit Ethernet ports, the
NBG5715 offers consumers all the latest connectivity options for their home.
The NBG5715 also features top security features and 5 VPN tunnels for home
office users.
An intuitive web interface makes it easier to navigate
through all the router’s advanced features. ZyXEL’s NBG5715 also includes a
power on/off button to save energy and reduce a user’s environmental impact.

Recently, ZyXEL Communications announced
the availability of its new Aerobeam WirelessHD device. ZyXEL’s Aerobeam WHD6215
is a transmitter/receiver combo that enables consumers to place their devices
anywhere in the room to wirelessly stream digital content, without worrying
about unsightly wires.
