Wipro announced that it has won the award for Excellence in Infrastructure for Application Services at the CMAI National Telecom Awards, 2011.
CMAI National Telecom Awards is one of the most prestigious industry awards to identify, acknowledge, and recognize outstanding contributions to the field of Communications and ICT. Wipro was selected from among 541 nominations for the award.

The award highlights the success of Wipro’s newly launched Service Delivery Platform (SDP) for delivery of Telecom services. The Wipro SDP provides a future-ready platform both in terms of transaction capacity and integration capability.
Wipro’s SDP which started with an initial transaction capacity of 4 million customers has today scaled to nearly 51+ million customers. The SDP also has the capability to integrate with new information or service-fulfillment assets such as MNP, 3G Video calling, hi-speed internet access, without any significant impact on the delivery of existing services.
