Turkcell Superonline replaces softswitch technology

Turkcell Superonline, a telecom operator in Turkey, has replaced its softswitch technology to support its IP Multimedia System (IMS) and TDM-based business and residential voice services.

Turkcell Superonline replaced softswitch technology for its advanced IP-to-IP switching, session management capabilities, interconnection with its Ericsson IMS network and embedded base of media gateways from Cisco.

Dialogic helped Turkcell Superonline reduce its capital expenditures and transition to a next-generation architecture without service interruption.

When Cisco announced the end-of-life for its PGW 2200 softswitch product, Turkcell Superonline needed to find a replacement for this core part of its infrastructure.
