Telit appoints Rabyte Electronics as distribution partner in India

Telecom Lead India: Telit Wireless Solutions, a provider
of M2M communications, has selected Rabyte Electronics as a new distribution
partner in India.

Though this partnering, the company will be focusing
towards development of the M2M market at the grass root level in India.

The company aims to increase its market share in India by
partnering with Rabyte. With PAN India coverage and expertise, Rabyte will help
Telit to achieve its target market share.

We strongly believe that an extensive Support &
Distribution network is the key to success. Rabyte fills the gap that Telit was
lacking and with this tie-up Telit would be able to penetrate the low tier
customer base where it was difficult to make in-roads before. We now have 3
distribution partners in India and we hope to increase them to 5 by 2014.” said
Ashish Gulati, country manager, India Operations, Telit Wireless Solutions.

Under Telit’s core distribution strategy, the company
said that its designated partner would play a critical role to provide
Technical & Sales support to customers that will help shorten the design
cycle and faster time to market.

The partnership with Telit certainly provides us with a
definitive edge as Telit’s wireless products are internationally proven,
reliable, certified and is available at the right price points, which helps us
deliver the right kind of solutions to our customers in a highly cost-effective
manner “, says Rajiv Batra, managing director, Rabyte Electronics.

Rabyte brings in-house Design support structure and
Supply Chain Management (SCM) capabilities across multi-layered customer base
through-out India.

In combination with Telit’s distribution network, Rabyte
will be working towards developing target solutions based on
GSM/GPRS/CDMA/UMTS/HSPA+, GNSS and Short Range products.
