Telenor Swedens’ fixed broadband unit Open Universe picks Netadmin OSS systems

Telecom Lead Europe: Open Universe, a part of Telenor Swedens, has selected Netadmin Systems, a provider of OSS systems, to deliver a communication operator management system.

Open Universe focuses on the fixed broadband market in Sweden.

To automate the service fulfillment and assurance processes, Open Universe will roll out the NETadmin OSS solution.

Moreover, it will also provide a user-friendly platform for Telenor Sweden and other service providers to launch their services from.

Netadmin Systems’ open OSS solution NETadmin automates operational and business processes in open broadband networks, making it an ideal partner for Open Universe, whose products are also based on open standards.

“After a thorough RFI and RFQ process we found Netadmin Systems as the supplier of the network operation management solution that best matched our requirements. The solution will support our business and our mission for Open Universe to become the best Communication Operator in the market,” said Seth Ryding, head of Open Universe.

Netadmin claims that the platform provides functional support for automated service fulfillment, including inventory and resource management, ticket management, and SLA statistics. It also speeds up network troubleshooting due to the complete view in one system.

“This will further strengthen our position as the leading supplier of OSS solutions in the Swedish market and help us in our on-going expansion into the continental European market,” said Torbjorn Sandberg, CEO, Netadmin Systems.

Netadmin Systems said Netadmin Systems is the market leader in OSS systems in the Nordics, and is growing rapidly in international markets. Netadmin Systems has more than 100 customers in 15 countries.
