Telenor Denmark completes BSS/OSS upgrades powered by NetCracker

Telecom Lead Europe: Telenor Denmark has completed BSS/OSS system upgrades powered by NetCracker Technology

The BSS/OSS system upgrades include an update of the NetCracker rating and billing solution Telenor uses for its DSL service.

This upgrade project involved a diverse set of technologies that impacted many of Telenor Denmark’s existing systems from back-end usage channel networks, mediation systems, and data warehouses, to user-facing CRM, and front-end Web systems.

NetCracker handled the design, development, testing, and implementation of the updates, rating and billing solution, as well as those for a number of third-party systems, while meeting Telenor’s system performance acceptance criteria.

Telenor benefits from enhanced system capabilities and improved service from its vendors.

“NetCracker has demonstrated that it is a reliable vendor partner committed to helping us meet our technology goals and to providing us with a stable, flexible billing solution for our DSL service,” said Arne Bøch Andersen, CTO, Telenor Denmark.
