TalkTalk selects CSG International solutions

TalkTalk Group, a telecom operator in the United Kingdom, has selected CSG International’s Total Service Mediation and Wholesale Business Management Solution (WBMS) suites.

As per the deal announced on Thursday, TalkTalk will deploy the latest version of CSG Intermediate, CSG Interconnect including Dispute Manager, and CSG Route, replacing a combination of bespoke systems as well as a previous version of CSG Route.

“Leveraging this integrated solution will speed our time-to-market for new products and minimize our risk in the process. It brings the modernization we need to address new opportunities and our growth as an operator,” said TalkTalk chief technology officer (CTO) Gary Steen.

TalkTalk will benefit from the CSG International solution that supports a diversified portfolio of broadband, landline, TV and mobile services for businesses and consumers in the United Kingdom and projected growth.

CSG International solution will also support the digital services that will be unveiled in the future by TalkTalk.

In a statement, CSG said its solution will enable TalkTalk to streamline its back office processes and monitor cost and revenue, including for TalkTalk Business, a B2B and wholesale service provider. TalkTalk using CSG solutions will offer partner-specific terms to negotiate exclusive rights to partner products that can be used to attract or retain customers or enrich its brand.

TalkTalk recently said demand for TalkTalk Business’s data products increased 40 percent in fiscal 2015. TalkTalk Group posted 10 percent corporate revenue growth — driven by data demand in the UK. The company achieved customer base growth of 50 percent and aims to double market share over time. TalkTalk Business added 9,000 new Ethernet and EFM lines, and taking its total base to over 26,000 – a year on year increase of over 50 percent.
