Samsung Mobile and Xora to offer solution for managing mobile field employees

Telecom Lead America: Xora, a global provider of mobile
business applications, and Samsung Mobile, will join hands to market a solution
that helps field employees work smarter and faster.

Aimed at helping public and private sector organizations
and their delivery and service, the solution consists of Xora GPS TimeTrack and
the Samsung Rugby Smart, Samsung’s ruggedized Android smartphone.

The Samsung Rugby Smart is equipped with a security suite
that delivers enterprise-friendly capabilities above and beyond standard
Android features to help safeguard sensitive data and communications.

Samsung said features include mobile device management,
on-device encryption, virtual private network (VPN), and corporate email.

Xora is a proven and cost-effective solution for
organizations whose success depends on the performance of their employees in
the field. Xora and the Samsung Rugby Smart together provide the mobile
technology and communications backbone for any team that gets work done in the
field especially those working in harsh conditions that demand durability and
security,” said Timothy Wagner, vice president and general manager of B2B Sales
for Samsung Mobile.

Xora GPS TimeTrack can be downloaded onto the Samsung
Rugby Smart. The apps collect valuable information immediately, which is then
automatically transmitted back to the Xora secure cloud-hosted management
application.

The Xora management application can be accessed from web
browsers and used by office personnel to monitor field activity and pinpoint
the location of employees and vehicles on Google Maps.

The Samsung Rugby Smart is a rugged, dustproof device
designed to handle the elements with water resistance and built to mil-std 810f
military spec standards. The Android 2.3 smartphone features a 3.7-inch WVGA
Super AMOLED touchscreen display and a 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording.
It supports 4G service, Wi-Fi, corporate email and the full line of media
including location, music and social networking services.

We view this new phone as an ideal complement to our
mobile business applications in situations where customers need both a rugged
device and the advanced native features of a smartphone. Our customers who fit
that profile need a phone that is tough, powerful and smart, yet still
affordable. Samsung has achieved that important balance with the Samsung Rugby®
Smart,” said Tom Miltonberger, Xora Chief Technology Officer.
